Camaro5 Fest (C5F) Schedule, Information and Discussion Thread.

Schedule: Friday Night Meet and Greet(Location TBD)
Saturday: All of the RoadTracking and Drag racing that you care to do. Car show and dyno runs. Free Lunch and BBQ Party for Dinner at the track
Sunday: Breakfast/Award presentation (Trophy and Plaques) Awards include. Longest Haul, Car Show, Most Improved Time, Fastest times Stock,Bolt On's on the dragstrip and fastest times on the road course. 1st,2nd and 3rd for both. Also awards will be given for the best dyno runs.

Can a bracket race be squeezed in somewhere? If for nothing more than a trophy and bragging rights it would be a blast. A few sponcers could throw in a few things for winner/ru & semi's. Hell I would throw in a few cases of Mobil1 if it don't disqualify me from racing

Of course, bracket racing is planned as is different classes. Just wanted to get the sign up and basic info out there.

this even is growing pretty fast. anyone down to do a meet and greet in NC and then drive down in a convoy?

This needs to be planned.. We did some neat things in the C5 Vette's for trips to BG. basically, picking up groups along the way.

You need to get an "organizer" per state and a co-ordinator from a given area. Co-ordinator knows where the groups are that will hook in with the convoy. Comunication by cell phone gets the groups together.. seeing all those camaro's joining forces to become one on the drive in will be impressive once you hit the finish location and THOUSANDS arrive un unison.

Very impressive seeing that many hot cars in a lineup arriving at the same time. Once we get closer to the actual event, we can start planning and aligning groups to join the convoy's.

I am trailering mine in an enclosed trailer.. I won't be able to keep up with a pack of "wild camaro's" while i'm pulling a load.
