Don't worry about it. She's very gentle but ask her an she will deliver the ass woopin. When I first started driving it felt like I was inside a tank. The small window really make it seem contained. Also I drive at night which I'm sure added to the feeling. I tell you I never hugged the left road lines so much before.

Getting your seat right is the most important thing. At first I had the seat too low so I had a hard time seeing over the hood. Now I got it so that I have maybe an inch between my head and the roof. Really helped with seeing over the nose but that damn rear view mirror is really low so I might move down a bit. I'm sure over the next few days I'll find my sweet spot.

Also adjusting the mirrors is SUPER important, especially on the right side. The left size is not too bad since you have the whole long door to look through but I had to have my right mirror turned far away to cover that blind spot. I possible I would HIGHLY recommend having your first drive when traffic is low. Helps with the nerves.

Now it's been 15 minutes and I must go see if she's lonely.

Well congratulations RC, I am glad you received your car and it is everything you expected it to be! I can second you rthought of it feeling like your in a tank. When I test drove one the first time it feels just like that. It seems like you are just driving a boat and i LOVED that feelin'!

Post up those pictures when you get a chance! Hope you had a fun day driving it into work! I bet you will be the centre of attention today!

I'm trying to keep positive thoughts. But I just have a feeling it wont ring today :( I have a feeling it will ring tomorrow since I cannot pick up the car tomorrow night and would have to wait till Friday afternoon to pick her up!

I just really hope I have her by the end of this week!

I have officialy gone past the point of insanity!

Whenever my desk phone rings and it's an outside call, my heart beats so fast, pick up the phone all excited and then, nope it's a friend bugging me at work or something else!

And now whenever I get a text message on my cell phone I get all excited thinking the phone is ringing but it really isn't!

Like I think I am going to actually do kartwheels and jump for joy when I do actually get the call!

Does that mean it has shipped by truck or is it just available to be shipped?

Just available to be shipped. That's what I have been sitting at Since December 23rd :(

You'll get another update from CamaroTracking with the rail car number I do believe when it gets put on the train. This way you can track your rail car then!

If yours ships before mine. Someone at GM is going to have some broken legs

I believe I read on the camarotracking FAQ that it will say shipped by truck until they know for sure what mode of transport it will take (rail or truck). BTW since you are in Ohio there is a chance they might ship the car by truck instead of rail. If that's the case it would save it sitting at the railyard waiting for a transport since they would just take it to the dealer directly.

Hmmm maybe they are shipping it by truck to Ohio? I have no clue how they handle there shipping be it truck or train. I know Ohio was like what a 6 hour drive from here to Ceder Point.

Well I got an unusual update today this evening. Apparently GM says my car is in Windsor getting the GFX package put on...weird because I didn't order the GFX for the car and even weirder that the car is in Windsor, which is like a 3 hour drive past Mississauga!

I don't know how much I believe that this is true. They could of gave the wrong information to my dealer for all I know.

The problem also is that they can't even locate the car. No one knows where it is at this point. It's like it's disappeared or something! Pulling some David Copperfield shit!

Hopefully things get sorted out tomorrow and I know where the car is!

Man I wish there was a way you could tell what the hold up is. One thing I just remembered is that a car can stay on code 4000 if they pulled it off to the side to do the detailed QC checks. In which case could take a day or two longer while they go over it with a fine tooth comb.

I got nearly 200Km on mine already. I tell you this car is sooo eager to move I keep catching myself speeding quite frequently. It just goes and I'm over the limit before I can blink. I got the DIC set to the speedometer to help me get used to it but it still gets away from me.

Sadly I did find one minor problem with the interior. The door panel on the passenger door is too low at the front so it doesn't line up properly with the dash trim where the two meet. It's only like a quarter inch low but still annoying. I'll probably drop by the dealer this weekend to have them take a look.
