i read somewhere where gm changed some parts pressure plate or bearing something like that so if gm changed something isnt that acknowledgement of a problem

It is true that some people have received new clutch/pressure plate assemblies, but that seems to be strongly dependent on the dealer you have service it. The problem is that Chevy has not openly admitted its a problem, nor issued a TSB. Look thru the other posts, we all get the same line, "I'm sorry to hear about that sir", and " We've never heard of this problem before".

The brakes and clutch do share a reservoir. My clutch engages pretty good at first start up, its when it warms up that it gets screwy.

If your getting the run around on this ... My 2010 SS is just starting to have the low peddle @ 12k and I will need to call the dealer ..... I have a contact at GM ....call Russell Dowdell 313-667-7153 and state that the dealership is giving you a run around and explain to him the issue. This is how I got them to fix the wing chip issue and had a TSB created for it.
