Update! We are still making them but not as many! Just like I said, things change on a daily basis. Who knows what tomorrow will bring!?

Please Remember!

I say nothing and by saying nothing or not, not saying anything does not imply that what you say is true or not true.

Speculation is fun but but nothing and I mean nothing is written in stone. We will just have to see what the General has in mind. I trust, we will not be disappointed!

I'm done with guessing, there are too many possibilities that we know of and dont know of. I will be happy when my Camaro has a 400+hp n/a v8. The supercharged (If there is) will most likely be wayyyyy out of my price range.

After reading about the LS9 and its new eaton s/c, the new design is not supposed to make much of a whine noise at all. Could be a goodyear gatorback belt, my cavy started to make a s/c whine with one LOL

If its not a Camaro ...I dont' want!

But im certain...it'll be an LS3 or LS8 for the first year or so...then Gen v after that.

Or until the CAFE regulations start..whichever comes first!

You're in the wrong forum to be over-reacting about that word.

I heard there was supposed to be a V6 and 2 V8's. Maybe both the L76 and LS3 will be offered.

However there lies my frustrations, do the exact same mods to the LS3 and even more power.
6.2 > 6.0 anyway you look at it.

I guess my frustration is I can gaurentee you if it comes out with the L76, it will be replaced anyway within the first 2 years yet the price will remain the same.

Would it frustrate you if the day you bought your camaro, your neighbor bought one too but his had leather and you had cloth yet for the same price? Sure, you could upgrade it afterwards to leather, but that would cost more now wouldn't it?

Welcome to Camaro5 4thGen!
Always good seeing another Camaro lover join.

For a while the word was that there is going to be 2 V6s and 1 V8 at launch. Since then there has been a lot of other hints and Scott Settlemire (aka fbodfather), the brand manager for the Camaro has hinted and said to forget everything we know about the engines. So to me everthing is up in the air.
But I'm pretty sure the will be a V6 with around 300 hp and a base V8 in the 350-400 hp range.

Well thats true. But you run that risk with any car you buy. Every few years there will be a better engine with more options for a better price.
