You a Playmate???? jk. In 67 Hugh Hefner had GM factory paint a pink Camaro for each of his playmates at the time. I wanna say 9 but not sure of the exact number. Only reason I know this is there was one for sale not too long ago in Montana where my friend was looking for a 67 and the seller stated that it was pink, was the original color, and had never been painted. Looked at it, looked legit to never have been painted as well. My friend passed on the car solely because of the added work involved to paint another color (didn't believe was original). Bought a 67 RS he found a few days later.
Anyway, couple weeks later he was searching the net for something and came across some info stating that the info was true. Can't necessarily trust everything on the net but I found some stuff talking the same in another camaro forum. Just some trivia when I saw the pink 2010 and thought it was kinda interesting. |
