Well since the radiation stopped she has had a fever that has spiked to 102 once but 99-101 most the time for the last 2 weeks. We had her checked for flu and nothing. Well 2 days now no fever so hurray. We always have to worry about her port getting infected and she has to keep it in for another year in case the cancer comes back.

The other scary thing is when is before we knew she had cancer she would get bad fevers at night but better during the day. We got scared that it had came back already. That would not be good at all considering she had 8 rounds of chemo and 24 raditation sessions.

She is going up to Birmingham next week if not earlier for her first checkup to see how she is doing. Will keep you updated as we know things.

Well we just got the confirmation that Make a Wish is giving Steph her wish. She has always wanted to take a trip in a RV. So we are going to take a RV up to Jersey for Christmas. They are paying for the RV and all the gas. They are paying for us to do a stop and do the indoor parachute thing. And on the way back are paying for us to take a tour of New York and catch a broadway show.

Sound like it will be fun. I do not want to drive an RV, but might have to. Kathie said she would do it since she is used to driving big trucks from time to time.

Oh well Stephanie should get a blast out of it.

Make a Wish came through for my Grandpa as well. I'm glad they were able to come through for Stephanie.

Scott, I've been in remission for 34 years, had Hotchkins (Lymphoma cancer) when i was 7. I've felt your daughters pain. Keep positive thoughts especially around your daughter and all will be well as it already seems to be heading. Great to here she is feeling better.
