I'm waiting for the mods to post "after a lot of discussion we have decided to skip having a C5 fest in 2013."

I think most people are voting Texas. After all the Texan members have done with the parking lot bars at previous Fests, they deserve a short drive next year.

I second that, we wouldn't even need cones for the "Camaro cross". Not sure where we would do drags though?

If we do deals gap 411 dragway is about thirty mins from the end of deals gap. Its on the way to knoxville where most people would want to stay.

VIR has a strip and hour and a half away. New London dragstrip

No no no ... its completely different

All those other non-committal replies are implying a positive reference, while saying 'wont be long' is defining the time-frame in a negative manner. That actually makes it more open ended. It could mean that there will be more information in the not-so-distant future or it could be a very long time (which is still not, strictly speaking, 'long' -its 'very long').

Additionally, one must keep in mind that indefinite time references are by their very nature dependent upon your own perspective. If you are thinking in terms of the age of the universe, than anything within the next few million years is 'soon'. However, if you are basing your time-frame in the lifespan of a fruit fly even a few days is a long time.
