I ordered mine right off the Texas DOT site, it states that the plates should arrive in about 14 working days at your counties courthouse......mine arrived 14 days after I rodered them.

ok, maybe its been a long morning here at work, and I am taking a break........but I don't get it, even looking at the letters/numbers backwards, I even wrote them down...still don't get it.

DUH I didn't think about the 8 being a B. I told you its been a long morning, lol but I do think it will pass. on the website, if it says its available, it will pass, as their software will pick up MOST everything that they consider un-acceptable.

The plate I have has been on 3 different cars:

JET JR

You'd be surprised how many people ask me what it means and gets it wrong every time. They usually say: "What, it's so fast it's like a mini jet or something?" They have this look on their face like they are about to hear some fantastic story about blazing speed and glory. I just look at them with a straight face and say: "Hey, that's pretty good, but nope, those are my initials". I usually get a quirked look with a muttered response like..."Oh". LOL. I can't help but chuckle every time.

...But that is his name now. Old Jet lives on as my new muscle car carrying the torch from his predecessors.

Doh! That is why I couldn't get ROCKET! I tried but it showed not available. I also tried to fit "Saturn 5" but that wasn't fitting either.

Well, at least it went to 1) a Camaro fan, and 2) a NASA fan.

Thanks for clearing up that mystery.

BTW, did you get a white Camaro with black identification stripes? Then you would be a NASA nerd!
