I just spoke to Dan "The Breeze"... we are definitely planning to go unless the roads are wet.

We see already that Biv08SS, Gen52SS, and 10aSSee D will check-in tomorrow morning... Dan would like everyone to respond either tonight or early tomorrow morning (before 10am please) and let us know if you are planning to come.

We will be meeting at 12noon in The Fresh Market parking lot near the corner of Kingston Pike and Campbell Station Road... leaving afterwards to stop at a scenic spot for a picture opportunity then to Calhoun's at the Marina in Lenoir City for lunch. After lunch, we will cruise for approximately one to one-and-a-half hours around Tellico Lake.

Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we can have some fun!
Steve

Is that 1 to 1 1/2 hours one way or round trip?

Breeze is fueled up. I have a few questions. Can 10aSSee D keep up with GMteSSted, can an 1LE keep it between the lines, can zfuzz keep his tires together going 120 mph down KP and can Bertha II stay with the Breeze? Just saying!

Those are some great questions that need to be answered tomorrow for sure. But tonight I am still trying to figure out how to keep the power cords from the electric blankets that I have duct taped to the tires from wrapping around the suspension at high speeds.

LOL!! That's some good comparisons, I would say we will all have a hard time hooking tomorrow. Tommy I will bring a hairdryer that plugs into the cigarette lighter and we can heat up your tires when we make stops and I think you meant can Bobby keep up with me lol just kidding Bobby.

Only thing that worries me is the goodyears that came on mine and the warning that they could crack in temps below 40, and the 83,000,000 tons of salt that they have put on the roads. Maybe I should bring my work truck and follow everyone else?

From the comparisons that I saw, be glad that he did.....

Maybe I can get some 110v electric tire warmer blankets from my drag racing buddy for Tommy. We can stop every 30 minutes, wrap the tires and find an outlet to plug them into and then hit the road again. That should keep them in the proper operating temps so they don't start flying apart! Seriously, that is a shame that GM doesn't make that situation right by making Goodyear prorate and replace their defective tires....
