Hey Les,
Any word on when you'll be getting your car back from the shop? Last I heard was a few weeks ago. Are they waiting on parts or something?

Your question has already been answered. Finalized tuning is taking place today.

Your subliminal messages are cute but let's knock it off. I understand you're a loyal MTI customer and that's fine. That conversation is over and the ship has sailed. Let's move on.

Thanks

I completely missed your post...sorry. I'm glad you're getting it worked out. None of us knew it had so many problems. As for being a loyal customer, or even a customer at all, not quite...unless you call buying some plug wires and throwing the car on the dyno at a group meet a loyal customer. Glad you actually seen my questions from before but just decided to plead the 5th. It wasn't me with the subliminal messages. Yours got you booted for awhile. I also think you said on 8/25 that he was getting his car back next week. That was over 5 weeks ago. Just was wondering what the hold up was, but now we know. 'Cause none of us wants Les to sell the car.

Trying to make more money, to keep the site from going down! That's my guess!

Before long they will get of of tapatalk! Wait and see! I am a member on a motorcycle forum, and went on tapatalk for it! They got rid of it because it wasn't cost effective!

Yes you are correct on that. For all intesive purposes, everything "we" were contracted to do on the car has been completed for almost 2 months. Once everything was buttoned up we started running into the current blower setup issues from previous parts installed. Belt slip, belt chewing, and the supplied Whipple tensioner basically not going it's job. After spending several hours exploring belt routing ideas, tensioner ideas, etc...we've got it figured out. That's the biggest stinker when you're repairing a car you didn't build, you never know what you'll run into and just when you think you've got it ready something else pops up.

Les won't sell the car. It drives WAY too dang good now. 700+rwhp with stock-like driveability is gonna be hard to get rid of.

Now let's just pray the 416 in the car stays together.

We've really got it made on this site. I know it may seem like there's a lot of ads here but it's NOTHING compared to some of the other corporate owned websites out there. I'm a sponsor in a couple of other places and I really cannot see how ANYONE frequents those sites without some sort of ad block / script blocking software. It's insane how much advertising gets shoved in your face on a forum these days.

This is one of the cleaner forums believe it or not. Some of them are horrendous until you've got a good firewall.

Sadly, ads are a needed source of income to pay the hosting bills. An evil necessary. Let's just hope it's kept to a minimum. I hate websites that are chocked full of advertising! Does anyone know if these forums accept donations from it's members?
