I bought my car @ Dale Willey in Lawrence. I have never had any issues with the service dept. They have always done me right.

I have a friend that knows a guy who does vinyls. Mostly van wraps etc, but he could probably do it cheaper than a lot of other places. I did my stripes myself, and they weren't very difficult with an extra set of hands. If you have the clear backing on them, it should be a cake-walk.

I am from Wichita/Andover. 2011 SS2 Vert Red with Black Rally stripes. Picked it up slightly used from Suzuki of Wichita. I had a great experience with them. My wife and I are having a ball in this car! Good to hear from some others in town. Any of you driving convertibles? I would have some questions if so. Good to meet you guys.

Awesome
I believe you'd be a very select few that have the convertible here in the Wichita area that I've seen. I haven't seen one yet out and about. Granted I have the coupe I could probably help on some of the questions you may have

Thats great! I hope to run into you sometime. I am wanting to find out if other vert's in town have discovered the "rub marks" on the top that are becoming such a popular problem. I am wanting to know if they have taken it to any dealers and which ones.

As you said there are not many in town and the weather has been cold, so they may not even be discovering them yet, but its coming for them. Are you active in the local Camaro club here? I just read about it last night. Its looks like fun!

You could very well be correct about the weather and people not getting them out.

I can keep an eye out for other convertables in the area and see if they have noticed any of the rubbing issues. If you have any issues be sure to let us know! I have had pretty good results with Davis Moore (out west) because I know a few of the guys and can push to get things done and done correctly.
