Whoever did this in this first place and shared it with everyone is a genius! Before I used to get raped by my buddy's 5.0 mustang (stick shift) but today I was pretty much even with him but at the end he started pulling away because of the weight/hp advantage.

Hear hear.
I took delivery of my car on thursday and the salesguy tells me
"yup filled 'er up for ya for $60.00"
I said thanks and asked him where he got 93 for $60.00 to which he replied
2011's run on 87 just fine.
So now thanks to this thread I can fix the low octane issue.
I was thinking my 2ss had dropped a hamster off the wheel or something.

GM really should put something out to the dealers, so their salespeople know their ass from a hole in the ground.

most dealerships that sell Corvettes run at least 89, Ive never seen a dealer have 93 on site.

I can't believe the dealer puts 87 in these. Wonder if mine did...
I use Shell 91, but we have 93 in a few spots.
I'll try this. Thanks again.

Don't suppose you have a tuner like SCT or Diablo to get a data log?

You ran all of the low grade out right? (not trying to insult your int. just asking)

I'd run a datalog. One of the tuners could read it for you and let you know what's going on.
