This would be a good call.

Let's recall that they had told MarylandSpeed they would ship a few times before so my advice is to not get too excited until there's an actual shipping confirmation.

Just talked with Steve @ Vararam...

First round of intakes have been built (& continuing to build more) but there are two things keeping them from handing the boxes to UPS.

1. The installation guide is being updated with the latest images of the revised intake and needed changes to the steps. The guide was finished before but the updates to the unit and how it is installed need to be included so y'all can install it right.

2. The heat pads that go between the intake and the radiator were delivered mid-week but were not up to spec and are being redone by the manufacturer. Luckily they are local in Houston so turn around time is fairly quick.

Once those two issues are resolved, then shipping can start. Steve said Monday. (Don't shoot the messenger, please!)

For anyone local to Houston, Steve will be at the H-Town Camaro Club's annual car show @ The Kemah Boardwalk on Saturday. Show runs from 11am to around 4pm and Steve will have the V6 and V8 units on display for the raffle. I'll be there as well with my Camaro. Stop by, "speak" with Steve (be nice) and check out all of the Camaros on display.

Thanks for the heads up. Can't wait but also glad they're trying to get everything right before shipping.

Being tail end of the group list, I imagine I'll have a few weeks to schedule a dyno date. I want to do a before and after dyno.

Well, I'm patiently waiting. I'm not saying another word until box is on my doorstep, intake installed and my first half hour of seat time under my belt.

Steve... how many are going out with this first round? Do you guys have the latest list from this thread? Just trying to get an idea of how many people will be in the first round of shipments.

Any idea on when more will be ready?
