I cleaned the engine up a little.

Installed the strut brace and the emblems on the engine cover today.

Added a classic SS emblem and moved the stock SS emblem to the dash.

Lowered on 1" hotchkiss springs. Huge difference in handling.

Love the look. Gas station pic until I can get him cleaned up gain.

Are you planning on getting the rest of the race pack pieces? Wait until you feel the chassis max brace, if you're not wearing that already. Sways and endlinks are great also...

You can do it. Dipstick wasn't bad for me. Helps to go underneath to make sure it went in seated correctly.

Yes indeed and to think a shop wanted $250.00 for the install! I am so glad I decided to do it my self, can't believe I was going to pay that money for someone else to have fun!

Put it on a flat bed and it was driven to the shop! No idea what happened, just started running rough while I drove through an intersection. No CEL, it had (or was reading) oil pressure that was about the normal pressure at a normal idle (right around 30 psi). But it was idling rough as if it had 7 cylinders and not 8, could smell gas while it idled though.

Didn't drive it far while it was running rough, maybe 80 feet. But a friend of mine and I checked the wires, plugs, put in new plugs thinking one had broken somehow, replaced the ported tb and checked vacuum hoses and found nothing. Was about to check the drivers side valve train but couldn't get the cover off and it was about 10 degrees without windchill so I called a tow truck. One thing we found odd was some weird goopy like substance in the intake manifold as if the gas or air/gas mixture began to condense and formed into a goop or more liquid state which could mean the lines froze or injectors were maybe getting stopped up but I feel like that would've thrown a code or CEL.

The no CEL is really throwing me off but its in good hands now. Hopefully it'll be figured out soon as I already miss it lol just mad that the one time I could have used a CEL or a code there were none thrown.
