Ok, truth be told, about a month ago I dyed the stiching on the front seats/steering wheel/door arm rests and console lid from stock gray to yellow. Came out great, took about 2- 3 man hrs.

Didn't do the back seats 'cause it looked like a PIA to get back there and do them in place.

Got around to doing it today with them out on a work bench, so much easier. I'm looking at the backseat anchor bracket and took it out to see what it all weighs.

Well, I won't have time to reinstall the back seats till after BF.

And yes, the 3 pieces weigh about 40 lbs.

I checked with one of my engineer buddies to get the numbers for the seat removal weights.

front seat from a 2LT trim with leather and electric can save ......aprox. 48 lbs.

rear seat bottom is another 12 lbs.

rear seat back is another 18 lbs

for a total seat removal of 78 lbs.......

Might look to do this next year if I decide to get real serious.
