Mine just broke on thursday. Had to tow it home. Im not sure on the names of the parts but i broke 3 bolts that connect the driveshaft to the end of the tranny. Bent 3 more! Mangled the black rubber piece that is between the trans and driveshaft and the tailshaft of the trans got a lil damaged but did not seem broken. My shifter also is off to the side. My 1st gear is where my 3rd used to be!!! I have suspension mods, catback exhaust, and CAI. I want to take it to the dealer. Will i be ok with my bolt ons? No tune!! Stock for same reason, u never know!!!

Wow. That sucks man, i didn't get to look under mine but i didn't have the shifter or gear issues you're speaking of. You should be good with your mods. Basically i think chevrolet is repairing or replacing the parts because of the known issue with the parts. If it were a second time, i would think they try to fight repairing it. Good luck tho

My shaft is not broken like I've seen here on some of the pics! Will they be replacing my tranny too? I just wonder that if they dont and i still have a week shaft it might break later on!

Sounds like you sheared the yoke bolts. Was the driveshaft removed when the suspension mods were done?

Yeah i just loosend up the bolts and disconnected the driveshaft from the differential in order to drop the craddle and do the suspension. But the bolts that broke and bent were the ones that connect the transmission to the driveshaft. The other end of the driveshaft where i had not touched

Haven't broke mine yet, but thinking it's right on the horizon (if it even lasts on the dyno).

What are the options to rebuild the TR6060? I know the automatic guys are just trowing in superduty 4L80 Truck trannys. Can't say I blame them much either.
