The trans and shifter are a good bit tighter and smoother than my 2000 with the Hurst. A useful improvement! The car overall is very smooth and capable - a nice ride for sure! From a practical perspective however, it's a few steps down from the 2000. The trunk is pathetic, and not having a fold-down rear seat is inexcusable in a convertible. Also, access to the rear seats is a good bit more inconvenient than the old Z28 - especially with the top up. Overall, I like it a lot however - and the IOM is definitely a good choice!

truckin-on, did you get the regular shifter or the Hurst in your 2011?

The Hurst - it's nice, but not so crazy about the odd-shaped shift knob.

Yeah, it does look different. But the more I use it, the more I like the feel of the "pancake golf ball," esp for shift positions against the edge, 1 & 2 and 5 & 6.

Well, I have to go back to the dealer AGAIN for another outward ding in the same front fender. Why is this happening?
Anyone else having issues with their Convertible?
