That car is exactly what I ordered. I don't care if they are flat or not. I just want to drive my new car. I will decide what to do about the stripes after I get it. Having them removed and painted back on sounds like the thing to do if you have already ordered you car and you can't change it. That is of course if you decide you don't like it.

At this point I am much more worried about what they are going to do about the weights on the calipers than I am the stripes.

Yeah the flat black does look good on VR. My son said if he got a camaro he would murder the whole car out. Can you imagine a Camaro all flat black. Pretty mean looking.

I bet we see all flat black within a year or two. Someone's custom job. I don't know if I'd own all flat black, but I sure would like to see it.

the dealer installed stripes look flat, but not "suck in all the light like a black hole" flat. There is some reflection. I'm not hating them that much based on these two vids.

The outside vid was of such low resolution and the camera was all over the place so I couldn't form an opinion.

This is my car. I mention some of my thoughts about the stripes in my other thread. I think they look fantastic; it is a nice contrast to the very bright victory red color. You also get the added bonus of dampening the reflection that would be caused by the curves in the hood. They really do look phenomenal. I will have lots of pictures up this evening of them!

I printed pictures up from this forum of the VR with the painted glossy stripes and the VR with flat matte black stripes. My brother ,wife ,son and nephew were here for the NFL Draft. I passed the pictures around and told them no comments and to just write on a piece of paper which stripes they liked the best. Every single one of them picked the flat matte black stripes. Comments were the car looks tougher, meaner, the contrast was nice. They also said the glossy stripes took away from the stripe package as it all melded together and was too glossy. I really like the glossy stripes on SNOOKS Camaro, but for me it's going to be flat matte black stripes on my VR.
