I think your best bet is just off the highway ramp .... it's a connecting road (I like to call them drag strips )
You just need phone numbers of who else you want to get together with.
You guys will be coming from the west and the NEC5 guys will mostly be coming from the east.
If you look at the map close on post #91 you can see that there is a school just as you cross on to Center rd that is another possible location ... that is about a 1/4 mile from my house.

I updated post #1 again. I count 28 people so far, but that assumes just 1 for those who haven't said yet. If you are coming with a +1 (or +however many), post up so we know and we can plan. We don't want to run short of burgers and dogs.

Speaking of burgers and dogs, since we do have a nice sized list, it may be nice to split the burger and dog purchases. And we can always go for more deserts

We are going to have a joint Camaro5 club BBQ with them at FAIRNOT LZ1's house in Vernon, CT. It's basically centrally located for both clubs, so we all have to drive about the same distance. The park has BBQ grills that we will use. We'll start putting together a sign up list that people for the things we'll need to bring to eat. The day will be Saturday, May 25 and we are looking at a meet up time of 10am. We also have a rain date for the next day, if needed.

As it is at FAIRNOT's house, and we have an open field, bring a ball and glove, bring a frizbee, bring Zimm-Zamm (LOL)! Bring some outdoor games. Fireworks? Not such a good idea...

I'll post directions and maps as the time gets closer. This is a great way to make new friends while enjoying time with the ones we already have. I hope to see a bunch of us go to this. I'll be a really great time.
