I used to prefer the old design until I saw the '14 in person. They're both good.

some of those people saw the new design, and rushed out to buy a my13

Right on. Great post. Makes me wonder when people go out of their way to put something down. The 14 taillights don't look anything like the Honda's, quite a stretch to say they do.

Probably the same people who drink light beer.

Funny, I figured all the '14 drivers drank wine coolers and those frizzy little girl drinks before crying about their taillights being teased.

I'm not sure why everyone 10-13 or 14 has to feel justified in their purchase, people like different things. They're both Camaros, this waste of a thread only serves to drive yet another wedge between owners.

They're the same car, get over it.

this taillight debate will never be over because it finds its way into every thread, but at the end of the day, you got what you wanted and so did I! now gimmie a wave when you see me (mine isn't bolted to the garage)

Put a 13' spoiler on the 14' rear would look better

For those that don't remember, the 2014 Camaro taillights are very similar to the 1993-2002 Camaro taillights... As well as the 3rd gens.... As well as the late 2nd gens.... and the same overall shape as the 1st gens, even though 1st gens' taillights were flat...

5th Generation pic from above flipped horizontally so it's at the same general angle as most of the pics below:

4th Generation:

3rd Generation:

Late 2nd Generation (early 2nd gens were the odd ball with the two circle taillights...)

1st Generation, though flat, carries the same shape:
Who cares what they looked like 15 years ago ? I dont

The 14's are a step back in the looks dept, and Lite beer sucks, give me a Stout or a Porter

It's still a fantastic looking car, and if I hadn't found the right '13 left over I would have been ok with owning a '14, but in this detail the designers got a bit lazy.

And by the way, the '14 hood is a step up.

The 14's are a BIG improvement over the older Jack O' lantern looking style.
Hey, at least you have good taste in beer.
