But as for as trophies go? Who really needs that type of bullshit anyway? Look every one! He's won "best in show!" Now bring that car to an outside show and lets see how you do? I think a lot of those shows are rigged anyway. Its favoritism. Enjoy the show. Forget the trophy. Trophies are just dust collecting, pieces of shit that boost the egos of those that are lacking self confidence. If you need a trophy to validate what you own as being the best in..., then you're in dire need of a psyche eval.

only thing worse than not getting a trophy in a car show is whining about not getting one.

Exactly this. And sometimes you get to take home a shiny trophy!
If it says "Classic" I stay home. I opt for the "Open" shows.

When the Musclecar Club Of America states in their description page that the camaro when equipped with the z/28 package or the ss version is considered a musclecar...i tend to believe them. Its common knowledege they are pony cars...but with the right drivetrain ,also fall into the musclecar catagory. There really isnt any interpretation at all.

Don't feel too bad guys, my friends dad took his 1968 boss 429 with 34k original miles to one of the local car shows and didn't get anything. And trust me when I say that there was not a flaw on the car. Different strokes for different folks.

What i meant to sat is that the build code on the car was in December of 1968. The car was considered a 1969.
