Quite simply put, the user often overtightens them...for reasons unknown. And having a nut/bolt in place...just makes it even easier for them to overtighten them, so they try even harder !
I've seen people damage stainless steel tubing from overtightening before ! Which must really have taken some effort.

The Breeze constant torque clamps pictured above are nice pieces and perfectly good clamps for boost pipes.

I appreciate the input! I will look into the above mentioned clamps.
Can someone tell me what sizes I need.

Hey Moreair1.....where are you buying those clamps and what are they called?

Ideal Pow'r-Gear are great clamps and work perfect at 2-4x the boost levels Camaro guys are going to run. And they clamp evenly with force from all sides to actually seal.

My local Napa dealer, they are pricier, they told me the clamps are usually ran on turbo diesel trucks

How are these installed? The instructions I have do not cover this part of the install.

That is the CAI kit that goes up into the fenderwell. You'll have to trim the fender liners. The clamps go around the tubing and screw into the metal behind the fender liners.

I'm going from memory but start at the turbo inlet then go A>B>C, etc. G and H may be backwards. The C-D part goes between the body and the rear part of the front subframe. There is an opening there. It does not go below the subframe.

Some guys from the Turbo 5th Gen FB page have gone to this Turbowerx Exa pump with good success. I think it may cause for slight modification.

Maybe I'm lucky, but I can only hear mine after the car is shut off.

Same here, and mine's over 4-years old (lots of drive time).

I have a feeling people maybe over tightening the mount bolts. I got mine used and they were really cranked down. I loosened them up and put on some thread locker and I only hear it when turned off as well.
