Well I got an unusual update today this evening. Apparently GM says my car is in Windsor getting the GFX package put on...weird because I didn't order the GFX for the car and even weirder that the car is in Windsor, which is like a 3 hour drive past Mississauga!

I don't know how much I believe that this is true. They could of gave the wrong information to my dealer for all I know.

The problem also is that they can't even locate the car. No one knows where it is at this point. It's like it's disappeared or something! Pulling some David Copperfield shit!

Hopefully things get sorted out tomorrow and I know where the car is!

That sounds fishy to me. The GFX is suppsed to be a dealer installed option not factory. Well mine arrived with the door sill plate stickers (and LT's aren't supposed to) so maybe they will give you the GFX as a free gift for the long wait. I hope they find your car, I mean how the hell can this car even get lost anyway. It stands out like a sore thumb in a crowd.

Yeah it sounds really fishy. It's almost like GM just told him whatever since he was bugging them so much yesterday because they can't even locate the car.

Hey if they put the GFX package on I have no problem with that! I'm just not paying for it! But yeah it's even weird how they say the car is in Windsor to get the GFX on, because they are put on at the dealer and not another plant or factory of any kind to my knowledge...

We will just have to wait and see what the update will be today on the location of my vehicle is! Maybe it's in Japan right now?

I'm just sick of taking the bus really! It's getting on my nerves that the car is so close but all these F up's are annoying. "No one knows where your car is located, we can't even find it" put the icing on the cake...

First off, how the hell did you make it from Mississauga to Etobicoke by going through Scarborough?!?!?! lol

Don't worry though, I have a long way home regardless, Live in Mississauga, work in North York area (401 & 404). So I will have lots of time with her...if she ever arrives!

I'm not going to lie though. Going into work today on the bus, I just been thinking...If theres no update on the car when I call, I'm tempted to just say okay, I want an explanation on what the hell is going on exactly with my car. All this waiting and them loosing track of my car makes me think that they are trying to hide something...If the car got pulled for that Quality Control Inspection, that's fine, but let me know thats whats going on then leaving me in the dark. Also, the car could of got smucked up or something seeing as they drive the cars to the striping factory.

So I'm tempted to tell them I want an explanation right now, or else I am cancelling my order. Just a little threat (like I would cancel this beautiful car lol) to get the ball rolling and to get me some answers. All I want is just an update. If it's going to take another week I'm fine with that, just let me know instead of keeping me in the dark here!

I know this will all melt away and will be the most excited guy ever when I get the call that she's arrived. It'll be like this never happened. It just makes me worried how GM is handling my baby :(

Got an update just before I left work today, almost missed my bus because of it!

She has arrived at the dealership!

I still got down to the nitty gritty on why all this was handled this way. The car actually did go to Windsor. Apparently they changed there striping plant and they are located in Windsor now instead of right beside the Oshawa plant. So it was just a mix-up somewhere along the way that the GFX were getting put on but they actually meant the stripes.

Still confuses me a bit though because the guy on the phone at GM told me on Tuesday the car just came back from getting the stripes done. Maybe they sent the car to Windsor for the stripes, then sent it back to Oshawa, and then it waited for the next GTA delivery turck to be put on, who knows.

But she has arrived and all is well! I pick her up tomorrow morning at 9am! Only get to spend a couple hours with her until I go snowboarding for the day at Blue Mountian! It will be one awesome day tomorrow!

Now watch, I'm going to somehow break my arm tomorrow snowboarding, and it will be my right arm, therefore I wont be able to drive my car because it's stick! lol
