I test drove a couple of v6 Camaros but they didn't feel much faster than my Kia Optima.

I’m not going to add negativity or chastise anyone in this thread. I will only say this when talking about a 6 vs. an 8. I’ve had both, both 2010’s, and the 6 was more than fast enough with an auto trans and I did enjoy the gas mileage. But...
When I get in my ss and turn the key, what else do I need to say. Driving a big engine with a manual is...fun. Have a great day!

I guess the SS is an evil heretic. I propose a separate ‘CamaroV8’ forum where birds of a feather can leave droppings on the rest.

What?I offered up legit in for his gear set. I remember that from another thread with a v6 tuy wanting more gear..i could be wrong that's why I told the OP to double check. Springs here so hopefully all the snowflakes have melted. Compared to some of the posts from v8 guys....I'm not to bad haha.....just look past my multiple bans from Camaro 6 haha.

It just seems that when I read a lot of talk about V8 guys and how they hate the V6 guys because we are almost as fast... your name always pops up in the tread

My previous toy just before my SS was a 370z with cai, exhaust, tune and 4.08 gears with a Quaife diff. The rwhp was just over 300, which is where my guess is your car is at. my Z would chirp 2-3 gear and was a blast to drive. It was also lighter and more nimble than a comparable Camaro. So, yes, I get it.

If you really want to know what the modem internal combustion GM motor will do, try building an LS3 beast. Talk about snapping your head back. LOL!
