I didn't know a touch interface could make your car a Toyota.

I like my iPod and all - but I have to say - they do kinda suck like Microsoft...
They change the technology all the time so if you're forced to buy a new one (like I was recently when my 3rd one crapped out) all your old chargers and crap don't charge it anymore so you either go buy all new ones (fck that) or can only charge it through a USB port (thank God the Camaro has one!).... I'm fine with them making new products to make money - but jesus...what next? I don't get headphones with my iPod unless I buy special ones for it ontop of the price? Have to pay for the manual? Or worse- have to re-purchase all my music all over again....ugh... |

lots of hate for the apple...i'm more indifferent towards that whole argument...i just want something to compete against the sync and we shouldn't be against technology or advancements in
If we had a system like sync...the majority of people here would probably be bragging about it The thought of having music and a tom tom app with traffic updates sounds pretty appealing to me...i don't care who does it i just don't want us to be behind what ford is doing...having the option for something like this is always welcome just like those ice cream companies who have hundreds of flavors...its nice knowing you have the options even though the majority sellers are vanilla chocolate and strawberry

![]() My point was, I didn't buy the Camaro because of all the gadgets and gizmos. I bought it because it's a muscle car and a damn cool looking one. If I wanted a car packed with technology, I'd by a luxury vehicle or a hybrid. But I don't. I wanted a car to have fun that looks awesome. The more "stuff" you keep adding to these machines, the more you're just weighing them down and making them into something they're not supposed to be. Maybe I'm just old school that way

It wasn't the iPlod that did it, because it was an overpriced ripoff of the MP3 players that were invented by Creative Labs and others... their innovation was the draconian iTunes software and the marketing to convince people that it was good. Apple is really good at copying ideas and then convincing sheeple that they invented it.

Then you come here and proclaim your factory made and authorized Mac is better because it "doesn't crash" like your PC. Does that strike you as a bit of an unfair benchmark? |

Geez the MS vs Apple Thing is Like a Holy War!
To me, at least, each system has some virtues and faults. I have a Zune. Like it and use it quite a frequently in my Camaro. To me its easier to program a playlist of favorites and scroll ro advance to whatever I wish to listen to.
Much easier than chasing loose CD's around the floor, seat or any other location in my car. Now, having said that, I bought an iPad. Yeah, maybe I am an idiot. But, I have found this to be a pretty usefaul tool for handling publications, photos, and web surfing. Yeah, I am a bit disappointed by no Flash player support. But, like many things in life, I bet this will change also. Either way, there are passions surrounding each system.

Never trust Apple with the exclusive rights to anything. They go 1984 when they're in a position of control. Give Apple an agreement, and they'll rig it so your Camaro won't even turn on unless the latest model of iphone is plugged into the USB port.
