One thing V6 guys can always be proud about is, sitting in a Camaro next to a Genesis or G37, make them both look like bland, who gives a crap, cars

Sorry, but a muscle car has to have 8 cylinders minimum and LSD. You can have a nice GT cruiser with a potent straight/V6 but not a muscle car. The 335i is a freaking beast with $400 in mods but it isn't a muscle car.

A V6 Camaro/Mustang is like a picking up on a girl with a stuffed bra, man they sure look nice until you take off the sweater and realize there's nothing under there; of course you bang her anyways but you still feel a little short changed.

No one is arguing that the v6 is a muscle car, we're just arguing with you because you degrade the same car you have because it has 2 less cylinders.

Tell me, how does your mighty v8, or mine for the matter, fair against a STS v6 camaro.... Here I'll tell you... We get smoked. Respect the car, the engine and the drivers. Not one v6 driver has given you a reason to hate on them, by calling them posers and wives, so stop hating on them before you give us v8ers a bad name.

Even v6 2005 stang in my country have the respect , as true Pony. Its beautifull, its still pretty fast ( 7.5 to 60) and its a follower of an ancestors. Engine is no matter at all, if u have some cash. 400hp v6 2005 stang is not a problem as well. Just put 6k into it.

I can see where your coming from. I can respect that. But I like to think that any car with heritage to the "old days" is a muscle car, whether it be in V6 or V8 form.

Edit: Plus don't the manual V6s have LSD? (I'm assuming thats meaning Limited Slip Differential)

Remember the monza the mustang 2 mavrick? In 1979 I got a new loaded Silverado with a 350 in it 165 horsepower, that's aaaalllll. Some of you guys don't relize that this the best time to have performace cars ever! I got a V6 and its the fastest thing I've ever owned. To each his or her own but it's pretty good right now.

I haven't hated on anyone except the ones feeling insecure about their 6 cylinder fake muscle cars..

i don't like the 6, I don't have to like the 6, I bought a car I didn't join a cult...

You guys who think the 6 is plenty fast are probably right, I would think so too if I was driving Impalas for the last 10 years. It's obvious Chevy screwed the pooch by offering the V6, I guess they needed it for rental fleets.

Ugh...

Anyways, about the sales numbers...there was a thread on this about a month ago. It hit the home page so look it up if your bored lol. Anyways, the 2SS was by far the sales leader...but overall the V6 had around 40 something % of the sales, which was and still is obviously climbing.

Someone here said in two years it would be the sales leader...I predict it becomes the leader by the end of this sales season.

Greenman. You mentioned something to effect of "sure the V6 may seem fast if you've driven impalas all your life". Well I'm thinkin you just sorta proved the point that the V6 is indeed a quicker than your average car....whereas V6s of the past where hardly any quicker than regular sedans.

I'll never ever say my car is just as bad and fast as yours is, but an attainable 14 second flat 1/4 mile with minimal bolt ons, and a very under sub 6 second 0 to 60. Sounds like fun to me.

The fault of both of these cars? Weight. Drop 3 or 4 hundred lbs and just imagine how quick these things would be.

[QUOTE
2SSARMY;1935691]Of course a G37S owner would say something like this.[/QUOTE]

Sorry man but it hadda be said. if you look back at my original posts, I was just stating some honest facts, not dissin the camaro. Homeboy gets mad cuz I. Basically said the genesis and mustang are faster. I'm a fan of all these cars but I don't like v6's in muscle cars. That's my opinion. Anyway. I brought proof of my stats.
Inside line pulls the worst numbers of all the review mags and blogs. Even they got 5.3 on the 1ft of roll out. My point was, that I rather get the superior of the v6 meaning power. I don't like mustangs though. Though I do respect there numbers. I prefer a gencoupe

http://blogs.motortrend.com/6476230/...-38/index.html

http://blogs.insideline.com/straight...-coupe-38.html

As far as me being G37 owner. That's the problem here. Everyone is criticizing for stupid shit. We are all just stating opinions. But when we do, they have to based on fact. 70% of the forum congers sh1t up then expects people to go by there biased unresearched words. I state facts. I bring proof. So yeah I guess it takes a G37 owner to do that
