Picked one up last Friday and finished reading it on Sunday. Great read with lots of great insight and pictures. If everyone read this book, the questions on this forum would be cut by 80%.

BTW, great input from you Scott. I like how they end the whole book quoting you.

Thumbs up Greetings from Canada...i would like to highly recommend this book

Hey everyone ! ......first time poster but have been checking out this site since last year.....i just wanted to highly recommend the book
" Camaro a legend reborn " by Larry Edsall....i picked up this book last weekend at Borders in Lynnwood WA....the pics are beautiful especially the ones of the car being tested in Germany and Australia...after reading this book i now know this car is truly a world class automobile....my favorite quote
from the book is by Tom Peters (one of the designers) " I want you guys to come up with the meanest street-fighting dog you can sketch "....and so they did ! ....everyone that owns or will own this car should have this book.

It was a really good read... took me longer then I expected, but it was very interesting. I would definitely recommend it. It talks about history... It talks about the 4th gen getting shut down. It even mentions GM being worried about bankrupcy back when they were working on the concept. I didn't realize it went so far back. But it walks you through every stage of the making of the car. From getting permission to build the concept through to the CTF cars. If you love this car... you will really enjoy the book. Now where is the book that Fbod was going to write?

I just picked up my copy yesterday @ Chapters, and just read the first couple of sections so far. I really like the intro whereby they discuss the pre-generation 1 leading upto and including generation 4. This vehicle has gone through a lot since it's birth. I also enjoyed the write up of "fbodfather", and hope the rest of the book is just as good.
I think every Camaro enthusiast should have a copy of this book. FYI, I also noticed another book called "Camaro the first 40 years".

Camaro a Legend Reborn book.

I ordered and recieved my book a month or two ago and finally started reading it this week. Great book and story. As people on this forum have talked about things the like or don't like, or what GM should have done or not, knowing the story behind developement and production of this car bring alot of insight. Very good book and well worth the read to anyone interested in this car.
