Went by this chart:

BTW, adding the Forced Inductions lid spacer to see how that helps..

..................And here I am nervous about turning my ratio up to 3.149

Don, is it advised to coat the headers? or did I miss that too? I know you have the hex vents.....I have only really done just under 11 second bursts and I have been fortunate the AFCO w/Ice is keeping me in check..... I am scared of the road course if I go to 3.149, heat might bite me.

Well, with E85, the cylinder temps will be better managed (E85 does not lower IAT2 temps though). Sure IAT2 temps are important, but, as long as the shift points are managed and no knock, it will be fine.

I did not coat the headers, could do it later but the vents do a good job...

Go run a road course, see where you're at. I won't be using all the power anyway ;o) just want to stay in the power band ;o)

We're not A.J.Foyt ;o)

Well, LOTS of pics -- I'll post them when I get back -- GPI is rocking on this. We hit a little snag with the ATI dampner -- looks like the hub boxed was for an LT1 -- Andy is shipping one overnight -- -- how about that for customer service!

Man, these guys at GPI are like an assembly line -- I happened to be there to help Aaron work out the ATI dampner, Mike and Tony pulled the engine, John (their engine builder) was cranking on getting the new and swapped parts going.

I've been very fortunate to be able to have service done by both ADM and GPI -- both are outstanding in what they do and their dedication to customer service is second to none -- it looks 'Mavvvvvvvvvvvvolus'...

Instead of having to go 6800 rpm, I can go 5800 rpm with more power ;o)

Cloverleaf turns will never be the same ;op

oh yea, Don, I meant to ask you to see if you had oil up in the blower again this time. I know the previous setup had those puddles of oil up on top, just curious if the newer catch can setup you did performed better? When you took the blower off the old engine did you happen to notice?

Thanks.

I had very little this time. The only way I've found no oil is having a breather on the passengers valve cover. I initially reset it to the routing after I noticed the oil. Now very little oil so it did help.

Had to clean a little bit, but at least no huge puddles...
