I'm going to go watch as they spray the undercoating on it today (They disassembled all the splash shields on the car and cleaned the frame yesterday then let it dry for 30 hours before spraying).

I don't know why I'm going to watch, I used to work at this shop and know their practices ... and the same guys work there. We're friends and I know they're being extra thorough.

I think I just miss my car.

Drove it yesterday and I am thinking about buying a set of MRR 228's in graphite, Conti DW's (not DWS) and a ADM cold air intake..

Added a fuel door cover to hide some scratches. Not sure I like the polished look over brushed. Any suggestions on giving it a brushed look?

Haven't driven it in over 3 months, but took the cover off today and swapped to real carbon fiber bowties. Almost there, 2 more months to start driving it again

1st oil change. 1300 miles. Meant to do it at 500... Well you know. Got busy, life happens, blah blah. Tomorrow is tranny and diff change day.

I put in Castrol Edge Full Synth 5W30 and a new filter. They said they changed it b4 I bought it, but it looked black. Glad I did it. Also put in new K&N High Flow Filter. Drove it around and loved every minute of it.

You can give it a brushed look by simply using a 3m scouring pad and 'brushing' it in one direction for a time. Sometimes a lubricant will help, whether it be oil or water.

Found this video for ya. It's really dry, but it works.
