There is a Autocross event open to all cars this Sunday March 23rd at Splash Country in Pigeon Forge...using both parking lots (14 acres) registration is at 8am. Sevierville Convention Center this weekend Corvette Expo March 21 & 22

My son will be in town this weekend, I will see if he wants to go with me. Not to run but to watch.
I think it's supposed to rain Sunday.

Showers 30% chance on Saturday 0% here on Sunday temps in upper 50's if you decide to come down enter Splash Country by the exit road off Veteran's Blvd....not the main front Dollywood entrance. The races usually get going around 10 or 11 am depends on how many cars enter.

Cool, so how do I get to Veteran's Blvd from the main road?

Your coming down 66 into Sevierville like going to Dollywood. Your going to take Dolly Parton Pkwy for about a mile. I believe there is a Kentucky Fried Chicken at the corner of Dolly Parton Pkwy and Veterans Blvd. Make a right on Veterans go about 4 or 5 miles heading towards Dollywood. The exit road for Splash Country is just before the main entrance to Dollywood on your left. You may need to make a U-Turn I also think there is a new fire station up on the hill just before or after the exit road. I can send you a ariel view of it if you want?

AngryBird ....Now they say 60% chance of showers and temps low 50's for Sunday's Autocross event at Splash Country....not good. I will wait until the last minute to make my decision to go or not. I would stay home and try and make it another time.

Muscle Car Ministries is doing a cruise to raise money for cancer. It will be a donation if you would like to. I am putting the route together now. It will start at the overlook at Douglas Dam at 11am. We will cruise around Douglas lake to the Lowes in Newport and then down 321 and end up in Sevierville. For those that would like to, I will lead a group from the Outback on Merchants Rd to the Lowes on Chapman where we will meet a group that will leave the Target in Alcoa. From there we will go down Boyds Creek Rd to the Dam. There will be more on the route and start times in a few days. We should finish up about 3:30 or 4:00. Maybe a bonus cruise to Gatlinburg afterwards. This is a great trip with lots to see and some fun roads to drive on. Everyone is invited.
