My shop did mention in passing that I'd get more hp by removing the cats. I don't think I'll do that though. I understand the exhaust really smells bad without cats. Also, it's illegal.

i went with 2" primaries because eventually I want to supercharge. Now, Stainless Works tested them out and the 2" only gave a couple hp more over the 1 7/8". I honestly don't think you can go wrong either way.

Got some info from IPS Brandon on the cam and stall they'll put in my car.
The cam numbers are as follows - intake duration 230 @.050 exhaust duration 240 @ .050 intake lift .591" exhaust lift .608" LSA 114 The torqe converter is a Precision Industries vigilante single disk with a 2800-3000 stall speed. |
