Yeah, the Yellow Vette driver is amazing, and right now he found a great set of street tires that makes him almost as fast as being on r-compounds.

I'm happy to be only 1.3 seconds behind him (after PAX index) in only my third event in this car, and on Pirelli tires.

Do you guys ever run the SCCA event in Lincoln? We have a much nicer track then what it looks like in your pic.

From what I've read that's where the regionals are held but I'm sure Guy will be able to clarify this.

Yes, I go to Lincoln for the bigger events. There's a divisional there in a couple weeks I'll be at. National Championships is there as well in the fall. But Lincoln is 4.5 hours from Wichita. So, although yes, your track is nicer than the one near Wichita (didn't know it was a contest), it's a lot nicer to not have to drive 4.5 hours to the events. I'm sure if people lived closer to Lincoln, they would probably go there instead of the Wichita site.

I think the Kansas course is cool. Especially where it's located.

Jim! I saw you on the I-35 yesterday (Memorial Day) about 2 miles north of Newton, at about 6pm. I was heading south, and you were heading north, top down, enjoying the beautiful weather!

Lol, I was wondering if that was you, I saw the corvette on the trailer at about the same time too. Figured y'all were coming back from Nebraska.

Hello everyone. I just bought a 2011 Callaway convertible, live in Overland Park, KS and am excited about joining the Camaro Kansas community. The first thing I did after flying to Alabama to purchase my car and driving it back to break it in was I took it in to get ground effects all around and a new Borla exhaust. It already had a very nice sounding high performance Callaway exhaust with sweet tips on it that is made for a 2010+ without rear ground effects. So if anyone is interested in upgrading their stock exhaust system to the Callaway then let me know. They were only on for 859 miles so they are basically brand new and are now sitting on my workbench wrapped in towels.
Again, looking forward to meeting everyone and I will post pictures when I can brake away from adding what I have found to be a world of addicting mods already.
Steve

I also have the original black side skirts and rear diffuser if anyone is in need of those. Perhaps an unfortunate relationship with a curb?

Did you know there is a really awesome Callaway dealer in Nebraska? Harchelroad motors. They sponsor a 2.1 mile road course here in Nebraska called racemph.com Great dealer for those shopping corvettes and camaros.

Superior Chevrolet owned by Hendricks Motorsports sells a lot of Callaway Corvettes and Camaros, as well as their own supercharged Camaros too! They are here in KC for the folks a little further south. And they currently have a ZL-1 on the lot for (I believe) 62k.
