Going to be cold at the track, might see some good boost. I haven't driven my car since the track last Friday. One thing I've changed is the cam timing, put some more overlap near the top like it was before, see if that helps me get near Jantzen's insane trap speed.

Speaking of which, my car is faster in the 1/8th mile than his, a 7.223 vs a 7.239. After that his car gains 2/10ths on the backend, his car hauls when it's going. I think I would need to run 20 psi for that, but this baby V3 SCi wasn't made for that.

Running more gear but a lot less boost.

Tonight was a total bust, very humid so the track was slick. Only cut a 1.77 60' one time, rest of the time was over 2 seconds. Belt is also slipping like crazy again, less than 14 PSI.

Found out why I was shooting sparks during the burnout, didn't help with traction either.

Had a little scare with 4th gear, did a WOT shift from 3-4 and it was all over the place. It took over 1 second to shift, slipping like crazy. The trans had a table that it was trying to adapt to, so it screwed up the offgoing clutch. Did a reset of the trans and it shifts fast again, so I still need to get some tables fixed.

Ordered the first part of the jackshaft setup, figuring out where to mount it will be interesting.

Got my MACE cams in with strong valve springs to rev the engine out to 7500 RPM's. Also have a 928 motorsports Vortech impeller coming in along with a jackshaft setup. Going to make some serious power soon.

Yes, 85# ones to handle higher rpm.

I'm going to remove the cylinder heads to install them, that will let me see if the pistons are still in one piece. Right now I'm going to upgrade my timing chains, camshafts, springs, install a crank super damper, and jackshaft cog setup along with the 928 impeller. Car is going to be complete different.

Cloyes timing chain kit, 928 impeller, ati super damper, and 1st part of the cog system. Starting the process of getting the cylinder heads off, taking my time though. Also may have found a fuel fix using a true port injection, will find out this week. Would require a second ECU like megasquirt though.
