Let's try and plan for mid May. May 17th is the third Saturday and it would give people who are going to the fest two weeks to recoup before another road trip. If we can get a date set someone can post a thread and try to get a large group.

I'm out of the country for business the week of May 19th...hopefully I fly out Monday or Tuesday and not over the weekend

I'm pretty flexible. I'm buying the sway bars, FE4 conversion, and diff/sub frame bushings the end of April, so I'd just like to do it after they get installed to have the most fun with my new setup.

Keep in mind that the warmer it gets, the more crazy it gets on Tail of the Dragon. Several of us are going to F-body Gathering the weekend of the 24th in Marietta and then some of us are going on Hot Rod Power Tour June 6th or 7th for a week. April would probably be better............but can't always please everyone...........

Atlanta Dragway opens tomorrow night 3/21 I am gonna go and run the convertible in stock trim so I can get a baseline , anyone else planning on going ? Prob will be a bunch pony cars testing for pony wars

I learned my lesson on opening day attendance. Last time I went I managed to get 1 run 3 hours after I got there and it was the only run I got. Wasted my gas, time and $20. I hope its much better for you! Let us know how ya do.

if its that busy I will just watch. Have a list of mods I wanna do but would like to get a baseline first. I will keep you all informed. and thanks for the heads up on opening day attendance.

If you can get in there at gates open and get through tech quickly, you may be able to get a couple quick passes in before the crowd arrives and then enjoy all the other cars running later if it does get too crowded.

Yes. It will just probably have to be late June or mid July (not around 4th of july).
