Hmmmm........ Could be related.
Get under the car and see if you have any play in either side of the driveshaft. Mine never was a squeaking or screeching noise. Just the clunk in the video. |

Will do. I just listened to your video on my phone (work blocks them). I suspect if we have the same problem, mine is due to only 9000 miles and you probably have more and hence more wear that is actually slop. The noise mine make could easily be missed by most people.
The only reason I hear it is because I smoke and crack the window (no flaming) I thought it was kids playing or a puppy chirping, weird wind noise and such until I finally said hell, there's nothing around me..and it's the same noise |

So in the clear if you have a car and you go outside the country of origin are no guarantees. In fact by the reputation of American cars is not good but if more people who want them can not rely on the guarantee that nothing will fix it. So I return to the same point I am alone for repair. Do you think this would suit me? http://www.phastekperformance.com/20...t-gmca10-a.htm |

Of course, you already had a stock one fail on you. So I guess a one piece would make you feel better about it. How much would it cost you to order a stock driveshaft and have it shipped to you from here? I can find you one for around 250.00 but you'd have to have it shipped too. Of course, it would be a stock one. For a manual Transmission of course. Yours is a manual I assume? |

not the link I sent is for a manual, but mine is a car I make a mistake.
I would slightly increase the power in the future and make run (1/4mi) So I think replacing the original parts FAULTY by better quality parts. If I take this piece it will cost me about $ 300 more but if it is to make sure it will not let me go on the road ... I'll have to wait, my garage will look at the car but I will have to pay for parts and labor. It's really hard to take my old car 85hp dieselv GM europe :thumb down: |

Ok. In that case I agree. Get the one piece and be done with it. You should be able to drive yours for a while. But I am curious to be for sure that you have the same bearing fail.
I'm almost possitive that it is, but I'd like to confirm it. |

No. That is definately NOT normal.
That's what mine does. I still haven't got my driveshaft. I'm considering getting a 1400 HP driveshaft. But, at least you verified your problem now. The movement isn't going to hurt the joit it's self, but it will get worse eventually. It's meant to be able to flex like that, but that hanger is supposed to hold it tight. |

OK thank you is also what I thought
I might have something to ride like that? Now I have to see my mechanic if he can just change the bearing or the driveshaft |
