I didnt get any pics when the timing cover was off but since I was going with the 3 bolt cam the VVT stuff was removed. New cam gear, cam plate, timing chain, tensioner, LS3 cover were installed along with modifying the wiring harness for VVT delete.
After that, I used the supplied crank pinning kit from Magnuson to drill the holes and pinning the balancer. Holes drilled - the drill bit they supply is a killer drill bit. Either that or that metal is soft.. lol Pins in

Pump attached Relay and fuse assembly installed Wiring in place While there I finish mounting and wiring the DSX aux pump control module

Top on and tightened down New Holley valve covers in place Time to start wiring and plumbing

Started working on mounting the Tru-cool 40k trans cooler. I did paint it with a flat black paint.
Lines attached to factory hard lines Got the intercooler reservoir in and lines attached Soler PTB in its new home Put in the 5" CAI from RPM Might Mouse XL mounted using a bar of aluminum that I twisted to mount on the factory studs that were just hanging out. (This will be changed later on) Wild vacuum line in place.. lol, that is temporary, was just in place for the first start up.

Fast forward a bit.. the nose is back on and made a new bracket for the Mighty Mouse catch can.
I like this placement much better. Not as crowded as it seemed to be with the twisted bracket.

So, dyno day is finally here (Thursday 6/17) -
Borrowed a trailer from a friend at work and my good buddy Daniel who helps me with all this stuff offered to use his truck to tow it to GPI. Got to GPI and checked in. Ben drove it around for a few minutes then got it set up on the dyno.

We only have 1 fuel station in NW Arkansas that has 93 octane and its 25 miles from my house. So we are tuning on 91 then E85. only had 3 or 4 gallons of 91 in the tank when we got to GPI.
Before starting the pulls, we swapped the 3.8" stock upper pulley for a 3.40" Griptec and a shorter belt. That was on for all tuning and will remain for now. That provided a little over 8lbs of boost with this set up. This is my second trip to GPI for tuning and I cannot say enough good things about them. Top notch crew to say the least. Ben was right there helping swap the pulley and get the belt on. They also bled the aux fuel pump line prior to starting all of this.
