My son just turned 5 and this car is really for him to have on his 16th B-Day.

He picked the colors.

your right...that was kind of funny. Well with the current education system, you can pretty much do everything while still sucking at spelling. Everything is typed, the ACT is multiple choice, and teachers dont care.....Back to the car. add the 1400 freight thats not included in our prices and BAM, its quite expensive, my 2LT/RS with IO interior and CGM stripes came to 36 before taxes, and 41k after

I am 16 and am getting the 2LT/RS. Yes, I am spoiled. BUT... I know it and am not afraid to admit it like some others my age. I am paying for a measely 5,000 of it and am proud to say that my mom will be paying for the rest of it. I do however, have to pay for insurance, but that still won't be anywhere near the car payment and for that, I am thankful. This car will be a tribute to my dad who just last month lost his battle to cancer. We always planned on rebuilding a 69 together but were not lucky enough to have enough time to do so. I feel I WILL respect the car considering it is a tribute to him and I do realize the value of this vehicle. I do also understand where you guys are coming from saying that most teens do not care about material objects. However, saying that ALL teenagers do not care about their possessions is simply an ingorant comment.

I'm 21..22 in october and I have to say I totally agree with you. I feel lik this is my time to buy something for myself and have the pride of knowing I did this alone. I've had stuff handed to me most of my life but once I turn 19 ive been doing it all by myself except currently living home with my parents. I work two full time jobs and on top of those a full time vocalist in a metal band and MMA fighter....right now i'm about to put the music on alittle hold for this baby we all call the camaro 5. I'm going to order monday finally!

The great thing so far is that people here young and old understand. We are all here for the same reason. Its great to see others out there like me young ready to lay some money down on one of these babies.
