Also 47 here... I too am amazed at the teens and twenty-somes that own new camaros. I couldn't afford one until my own childeren were out of the house. I guess I did own two camaros and one chevelle when I was young, but they were not new and worth $43 grand!

I hear you! My first 2 camaros were 5 years old when I was in high school and had 65K miles. My first one got stolen and the insurance gave me another one but I could never afford a new car back then while going to school. I can barely afford an 8K car with my dad's help back then.

My first "68" Camaro I was 15 and this one I'm 55, so I average 35 between the two but now with a lot of experience, no fear and nothing to loose....

I'm 25.. No parent money involved. I pay for what i can afford which is why i got a 2LT not the 2SS i drooled over for months. I do not race, or do the things i have seen some of the people OLDER and LESS mature than me do on here. I respect my camaro, and i'm glad to support the economy and help a company profit that has it's headquarters in my hometown. My winter "beater" is also a Chevrolet (06 Trailblazer) Nothing foreign in my driveway! I hope to maybe add a 2SS 'Vert to my car collection down the line a few years when i have more debt paid off. (no plan to get rid of my low VIN 2LT)
