Yep, my wife doesn't care one little bit about my car, she doesn't even like riding in it (says it makes her feel claustrophobic). She won't drive it, even when I offered (not that I really mind that), and doesn't want anything to do with it. She's definitely NOT a "car chic", and really gets aggravated when I spend money on my car. Oh well, if it wasn't for my car, we'd have nothing to argue about!!! Oh, love is bliss!!!

haha, don't we all....but good luck, talk to one of them after the shows... they don't appreciate cars as much as you think.

A modeling job is a modeling job for many of them....

With that said, I am a little shocked that many of you actually WANT your wives or gfs to love the car. Loving the car means they want to drive it all the damn time... my wife loves this car... wants to drive it frequently. That is a terrible...terrible thing lol. She actually gets annoyed when I say no... so I suggest you all ENJOY being alone in the car. I love being alone in mine, but it rarely happens. Only thing that bugs her, is the money I spend on the car and not her.

Both my husband and I have been wanting this car when it was first introduced, we own a '69 SS and have had numerous Camaro's over the years. He wanted the auto and I was the one that pushed the manual as he has always driven into my head that muscle cars must be a manual. I get to drive it much more than the Mister due to the fact he drives a truck for work. I am the one pushing mods. I have no problem getting it all cleaned up and probably am a bit more anal in cleaning it up than he is

The car gets loads of attention from strangers, but friends and family are not interested or impressed. As much as I love talking about it, I kind of just keep my mouth shut, and enjoy it on my own.

My wife decided to detail mine yesterday after drinking beer all afternoon. Did a pretty good job, too. Luckily she can't drive it, yet.

See that's where it's the selection not the actual just being married that comes into play.... we met in the pits at the racing..the smell of Cam2 racing fuel in the air and grease under the nails... it was a match made in heaven...ok so I won't go that far but you get the point...

my wife helped with my down payment money, she loves the TA! i was going to get a 5th gen but she wasn't all that interested in it and, on a side note, i can fit the wife and 2 kids in the TA where we would not have all fit in the Camaro so she really likes the TA!

My husband thinks I'm crazy for buying my Camaro, keeping my '02 Trans Am, and trading my only car that got decent gas mileage! oh well! I love both of these cars!!!!!

I have to agree. I am kinda glad my wife has little to no interest in my car. Initially I did get the whole "You have 2 kids" and "that car is not practical". She also said stuff like "Why do you get a cool car and I get an SUV to haul the kids around?" But after purchasing it, she has kind of calmed down. But she still does not love it like I do. Tells me I spend too much time and money on the Camaro. Also says it is "Too Loud, too low, and attracts too much attention". She has only been in it about 5 times and has never driven it. (been almost a year)

Many women and some guys too, are not "car people" and could care less about cars. To them, it is merely transportation to get from point A to B.
I remember my live in g/f walking right past my brand new 2004 Z06 Commemorative Edition in the drive way as if it wasn't even there! No comments....nothing! BTW...we are no longer together!
