is anyone else trading in a car? i would be driving 460 miles, just wondering if anyone else has is worried about getting screwed on a trade.

I don't know how either party could be fairly treated unless the trade was discussed and a price agreed upon well in advance of the sale. Kind of hard to do from 460 miles away isn't it? I would guess you'd either have to drive it up in the meantime for an agreed-upon trade in value determination or sell it outright in the interim. That being said, I'm rather confident that if a number was agreed upon between you and Steve, he wouldn't renig on it. He's just not built like that IMO.

In your honest opinion...do you think that i would receive my car before september by being the next to order...number 20 based on what steve told me today? LT1/RS Black Rally Stripe White Boston sound and convenience?

I would have to say YES. They got 31 vehicles of which 3 were pulled in Feb (for March build) and 7 pulled in March (for April build). That's 10 of 31 already. Even if the numbers didn't continue to increase and if he got 7 pulled in April and 7 more pulled in May that puts you in a June build schedule; that's at worst a July delivery. I personally think that's a safe assumption.

is there any clue to the percentage off msrp, invoice would be...say 28,035 msrp. Looking at around 2-3 grand off?

When I talked to Steve, he said that being 18 should be a June or July delivery. Cyberbro....maybe someone ahead of us backed out and we got moved up one. If not, I guess I can survive being 19.

That would be cool.

The only thing I found odd with Steve is he did not want to put anything into writing? I wanted a sales order with price an position number and that was a week ago and still nothing.

Yes I do have the workbench but I asked for a sale order so I have the price in writing.

Same here...he said as soon as he got a VIN i would get my sheet with invoice listed plus the additional $500...but all I've gotten so far is my workbench (which has a few spelling errors which I've asked him to change and yet to see an updated one (he assures me its all correct in the dealerships computer tho))
