Sorry gang , it was gloomy and raining on and off all day here today , now the sun is finally out and we are 3 hrs away....just too sketchy to take a full day off for a rained out event. Hopefully the black clouds take a turn north around the 275 area. Hope you all have excellent time.

i just home from class, and i have a wings party at 630. dammit i really wanted to go to this. hopefully there will be another meet like this this summer.

Just got back to Lansing from the Rodgers Meet n Greet. Great time and nice to see so many enthusiasts.

I have been stewing on mentioning this in this thread as it was such a positive and upbeat event.

But, Kelly, I can not express the sadness and dissapointment in seeing the damage done to your car. What you are doing with your car and the awareness you are raising is absolutely wonderful. I can not imagine the mindset that would be required to cause so much damage to a car honoring men and women that have given and sacrificed so much. Was it a person so anti war that doing violence against property is considered justified? or someone with so little thought of the message and effort that thought this somehow funny? Either way, I am a bit less confident in my fellow man having seen the damage. I described it to Mrs. Number 3 while standing next to your car and she was heartbroken.

For those that have not seen the car in person, I can only say a photo or description will not do justice to what you would feel seeing the damage.

Kelly, thanks for what you are doing and please use this to increase your resolve that what you are doing simply for awareness is appreciated here on Camaro5.
