LOL tell him that there was a slight delay with his and then give him mine from my dealer when it comes in...mine's black too..he'll never know the difference and he'll still get it this year

WOW, WOW, WOW!! Again...thanks for taking the time to allow me to follow this process!

Today was my day...dealer had 1 allocation (from the Feb consensus) and of course he called me, sat me down and we went over the workbench printout to make sure everything was lined up. He made me a new copy and shook my hand!

I'd guess, based on this thread, I should expect an event code update next week and then again a week later (if all things go well as some have not gotten the second even code pushed to TPW)? Is this correct?

Thanks again and I honestly felt this day would never get here!! 3+ years I've waited to see it, 5+ months since I ordered and today, today was my day!! Excited to say the least...just need to see those event codes moving now!!

OK guys, I ordered today

, but now I have a concern
I am #1 of 1 allocation at my dealership. If GM gives him an allocation, but V6 is on constraint what happens? Do i lose my car unless I bump up to a V8?

Is that 1 allocation you are referring to what they werer told was their initial allocation through Q3? Or do you just mean they were given 1 for next month?

wow, the word allocation gets abused alot around here...

Just when I though I had it down.....

1) allocation until october
2) allocation for the upcoming month
3) estimated allocation for the next month
4) allocation of stock orders
5) consensus vs. these allocations

There's got to be a better way!!

How about this... RPO, what is your number of allocations for 1-5 above?

Good questions. Not his numbers but here's what they're actually called...
1) Production Guide number
2) Allocation report (tells them what they'll get)
3) Upcoming month = next month = allocation report. They don't go 2 months out
4) stock orders are roughly equivalent to sold orders and all count as part of the same numbers above
5) consensus basically is what the dealer wants, the allocation report (2) tells em what they'll actually get.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Okay, take a deep breath. I am the person you are referring to that changed my order on 2/27. I can only tell you the status as of that day. They had only one order pulled for production out of 4 ordered with spot #3, yours and mine sitting in the cue. I was originally #1 but I passed on the first order in hopes the CGM would be ready for the next time he had an order to be pulled. Well, I decided to change mine to VR which put me back in the #2 spot overall and the #1 spot of remaining orders to be pulled. I was sitting right there with him as he changed my order and I saw all 4 on the screen at which time he put mine as priority 1 and the other two remaining orders at priority 2 and 3. Sorry I can't remember which yours was. He told me he would call me and let me know when my order was pulled but I haven't heard from him yet, so I am assuming it hasn't happened. I will let you know when mine gets pulled and if you hear anything different let me know and I will give them a call, until then, I'll just have to wait.

As far as your question around the pricing on the order workbench, it is there on my new printout that I got on 2/27. Like the others said don't sweat it, your price is guaranteed with your preorder.

They are only allocated one through Q3. I am their one and only sold order (Lucky Me), but then i am concerned about this V6 constraint deal.

My dealer only got 1 through Q3 also. This is just a guess, but I'm gonna say that the V6 constraint will most likely be lifted by the time our dealers get their 1 allocation.
