Just called CSX's automated system (CSX 1-800-235-2352) and put in the rail number I got off the Bayed and in QC thread daily update.

Train left station in Ontario an hour ago. Finally!

Okay.. so I think my carrier is UP.. but I am having zero luck with the automated system.

The car is at the Interchange between Canada and US in Salem, ETA in Kirby, TX July 31 7:04am

You can call 800-272-8777, prompts 1,1,1 then enter the numberic portion of the railcar number when prompted.

What was your rail car number? mine is ETTX 907423. Did you get any info when you called?

Can anybody help? I got the "rail car" number and assumed it was U.P. On the built and bayed spreadsheet it shows the rail car as "CN 704..." What the heck does that mean? When I called U.P.'s #, it says "Loaded...ETA 8-10..." but no other info.

Help?

Do this..
1. dial 1-800-877-5123
2. press 1 for english.
3. say "trace"
4. say "one" (number of packages)
5. say "ETTX 803407"
6. say "no" for fax copy

I got, your car will be arriving in Kirby at 8 in the morning.

I have the same problem. Rail car # ETTX852760

I call UP and give them the rail car number, but all she tells me is a ETA of 8/10 at 6 am.

How did you guys get the ETA? All I got was the present location.

Well after a few days, it eventually started to give me more info. What i learned is that CSX transports it from canada to Illinois. from there, U.P. takes it to western destinations. currently, my car is sitting at the final train yard waiting to be delivered to the dealerhip.

Blue Demon, for me it would read back the railcar # then would say "Loaded. Estimated time of arrival at Mira Loma, CA 8-10..."
