Yep I removed everything as it was not needed anymore with the diodes.

I had taken my car to the dealer to replace my AC condensor, and before that everything worked w/o issues. However after the repair the DRL harness would not work, and the only thing I can come up with is the dealer reflashed my BCM and it messed with FieldGoal00's harness. Ofer (2SSRS) and I both worked on it and this is the only way I could make it work.

Thanks Ofer as I learned from the best.

You should see the project I am doing on the 65 now. Power rack and pinion, which necessitated buying new JBA short headers, newer 66 motor mounts to raise the engine 1/2", relocating my brake proportioning value as it was too close to the headers, and relocating my factory Z-bar back 1/2" for the clutch and to clear the new steering intermediate shaft to the rack. That was just the bottom end. Putting in the new PS pump and making everything line up was easy compared to what I am still doing. Needles to say I missed Good Guys in March.

Oh well when we deviate from factory we pay.

Thanks again, GearHeadPeter. This looks like a simpler set-up than what I've got now....I like the idea of the inline plug and play without the need for the extra wiring to the frame and fuse box. As soon as I have a hint of a problem with mine, I will switch over to your set-up....with your help, and Ofer's, it looks like I will be prepared. Later.

One thing that I like about the diode setup I did is now the AAC P13 Plasma bulbs are even brighter than before.

That'll work fine but you need to tap into the wires yourself. You should just get the harness from 2SSRS he has a plug n' play and it works great. Installation is 2 minutes.

Does 2SSRS have an actual website or is it something he does in his garage in his spare time?

Yes I had the same problem, I ordered from override motor sports (Patricia Marlow) on April 25th and still no sign of my item. I have sent numerous emails ans still no response. I just filled a dispute with PayPal. So sad that this is happening. Hopefully I get my DRL Harness. Or at least my money back.

If you get your money back purchase the harness from 2SSRS he is a reputable person and his harness works. Check out his site: http://www.gen5diy.com/
