im trying to dip emblems and trim here and there... car is black but i want to get red notes around it... im just stuck on what color to make the tail light bezels.. if i go black would it just blend in too much with the car itself to notice..? if i do red will it blend in with the lights themselves to notice..? just wanna get rid of the chrome but not sure which color to go on these......

Full Hood dip with dipped stripes... not quite happy with the results, but will keep it a while before tweaking.

And on the car (with dipped side stripes from a while back):

Random question, but hat did you use to cover the holes after changing the spoiler? I've been wanting to switch to a high wing but I don't know what to do with the holes since the don't match up with the ones used with the old spoiler.

Hey just trying to help you out here. This looks like it was done from a spray can, which usually won't produce a great look. There are different nozzles you can buy from dipyourcar.com if you insist on doing it through a spray can which can help your finish. On something as large as a hood I would consider buying a gallon and using an HVLP sprayer.

Very nice wheels! I've mostly only seen the total blackout look, but your style looks much better IMO...especially with SIM.

my most recent plasti dip project was my roof and my trunk (did about 6-7 weeks ago), basically covered everything haha

Not my Camaro but I tried my hand at plastidipping the corroded alloys that were on the s10 I bought a few weeks ago.

these are the kind of rims i got on my camaro atm, do you guys think i would have to pop em off or anything to plastidip the silver part back, or can i just cover it up with them still on the car?

also how do you think it'd look + handle wear?

After reading this form I figured I would give it a shot, did my engine cover and front emblem. Thinking of doing Red hash stripes next, let me know what you think!
