If it was an SS option only, then the Canadian SSs with IO interior should have the red rings as well.

That's because you have a metric cluster. The only IO interior cars which get the red rings are US SS models because of the imperial clusters. The missed V6 and metric clusters was an oversight due to a few reasons. Not sure if they plan to remedy the issue - I know Dennis woulld be happy if they did though.

I agree with you in regards to the speedo. They could have offered one speedo with "80" in the 12 o'clock position. Then it could be used for both imperial and metric equipped cars. Then (assuming that the V6 and V8 had unique tachs) adding red clusters would mean only managing 4 configurations instead of 8 if they went ahead and added the red rings to the current set-ups.

None of the LT cars come with red clusters lights...thats only in the SS IOM...Dumb i know...I wanted red lights in the guages too idk why GM doesnt make kits or a aftermarket manufacturer dont make a lighting kit for the guages and ABL door panels or sumthin im sure it wouldnt be hard to make a plug and play harness for the door panel trim with lights around it...

I think it would have been neater if when you hit redline the rings go from blue to yellow to red

My GM exec. car is a early production number, and has the blue rings..I like them... it does not have the back up beepers either
