No, most of the complaints were: "It's UGLY!", "Piece of SH*T", "Dumb", etc, etc, etc.. All they had to do was read the thread and find out he DID NOT do it to make a fashion statement. He did it to save the paint on the car when he races. Read the thread guys...GEEZ. When he's done racing, he peels it off. When he goes racing, he sprays it on again. Whether you like it or not, his paint is safe!

It is not an alternative to a paint job, and here are some uses i feel are great: you are going to the track and a clear bra is too expensive, just spray the desired panels with a clear coat of rubber dip; you want to temporarily change the color of your car for a show; you want to be creative and mess around with your car, without doing anything permanent. For you who are saying its ugly and ruined a great car, thats the great thing about rubber dip, again, YOU CAN PEEL IT OFF IF YOU DONT LIKE IT, well that is if the owner doesnt like it. Who cares what you guys think. here are some pics of my personal 2010 camaro in matte white rubber dip. i just dont like how people are being disrespectful to this owner when they know nothing about the product. If anyone has questions about the product and would like to learn, rather than hate, feel free to give me a call 310 980 1641

Car looks great, maybe as i keep spraying the car ill get better at making it more smooth!

I like it..I always like Matte colored cars (black and white). I plastidipped my emblems all on the outside of the car myself and they have held up great since I got my car in April and I hit the carwash once a week...quality stuff for sure

On a second note, I debated on yellow calipers but now that I see them on a dark car, I'm glad I went with Red instead

Might have to eventually do this to my car eventually, Bugs in Texas are stupid.... My front bumper gets destroyed in the spring and summer... + the bird crap, as long as this really doesnt damage the paint I dont see anything wrong with it, prevents you from having to repaint the entire car once it starts to look crappy haha, + I like the look

[QUOTE=Culb;5910720]Yes, like that PNYSLAR guy. Clearly did not read the thread and wrote down the first thing that came to his mind. There are pictures of his car with panels removed. Maybe read some other posts first before you make a fool of yourself.[/QUOT

I read the post and yes the car is his, but can post what ever I wish with out having to listen to a bunch of "Know it all's". I've used the stuff on some wheels and it doesn't come off on certain areas as easy as you 2 want everybody to think.

Dude, relax.
I don't like it as it looks like black/grey primer and not even a flat black. But not liking it doesn't mean I'm being disrespectful. "Who cares what you guys think?". The OP posted for opinions. So he's got some. Don't know the guy. Maybe he simply wants to know what people think. Not hatin on the guy. Lot of folks know he can take all that rubber off if he didn't like it but sounds like he does.

No biggie.
YUP. You said it Tasty.
I stated I did not like it as well, but I did like the looks of the car when just the hood, roof and trunk were done with the plasti-dip. I didn't disrespect in any way at all.

For everybody who says its cheap, ugly or otherwise not a permanent solution. These are all high end cars done by a shop in DC near where I live. These are all rubber dipped as a permanent solution. Get familiar.

And yes 99% of the population cant tell the difference between a ZL1 and a V6. Other than few cosmetic changes from the outside looking in people not in the know think its just the transformers car.

<< Yes you can pressure wash the vehicle after proper curing.

I understand its a culture thing. But you an PNYSLYR did educate me.

When done professionally, it looks more flat black. That BMW looked pretty good. More importantly, color choice makes a difference. The white looks kinda cool but the light blue and purple makes me want to walk away from them to save my eyes. The dark blue is bad but not so much.

But the OPs doesn't look like these. Each his/her own.

After reading these, the idea of having a pseudo indestructible car is kinda cool. Just have to be the right color and car.

The blue plasti-dip looks killer. Especially rolling on black wheels.
