I wasn't getting at which car might have poorer outward visibility.

Only that the Camaro is "less poor" for some drivers than others based on a number of factors.

Less poor for some I may agree with but the visibility one has in the Camaro is still awful, and I suspect consistently the worst in it's class regardless of driver regardless of the variables.

I have not heard a single driver say the visibility in the Camaro is better or even on par with its competitors. I suspect that is a turn off for some drivers looking for a daily driver.

With all these people complaining about the visibility out of their cars, maybe I'll think twice about joining a car cruise with other Camaro drivers, especially those in this thread

If we complain about rearward visibility too much, the 6th gen may just have a bubble top like those old 1960's prototype cars to address the "issue".

I do not give one rat's ass about the rearward visibility of my Camaro. I can drive it and not hit anything. If I do, it will be my fault. It was not a consideration when it was purchased. It is a daily driver. Is it worse than many cars I have driven...yes.....but who cares. None of them looked this good or ran this well. Get over it, or get a new car. The visibility was not to hot in 1969 either. This conversation is about as stupid as a Prius forum thread complaining about the lack of power!

PS: I am with Camaro Skooter.....What do you call a car cruise full of Gen 5 Camaros if many from this thread attend and have to back up to start the cruise.....a demolition derby! Don't for get to tip your server....and try the veal...I'm here all week!

Backing up

All hot rods should be backed into parking spaces. Everyone knows that

I guess at a cruise you would be correct....but that means chaos on the set-up! Damn....the humanity!

I disagree. my truck at work has two massive windshields and 4 mirrors that allow me to see everything around me. the only place i can't see is directly behind. after driving it, I feel blind in just about any car.

I have been compelled to back into my garage daily just because of this thread.
