My family named my Silver 2LT "Eleanor" as one of my favorite car scenes is "Gone in 60 seconds" when Eleanor is hauling @SS on the bridge and drain tunnels, yes I know Eleanor was a ford but I love my Silver 2LT and I liked the name.
By the way the scenes on surround sound 7 channel sounds awesome. :-) |

On a cruise with our 15yo son and going thru the gears spirited like, he spouts "man dad she really likes to lay down the rubber patches" and I smiled and said son you just named her and "Patches" she IS.

At major car shows, they give extra points for having the actual name of your car ON the CAR!!
However, "REDRUM" was easy, as everyone that ever seen it, says she was "bleeding"  "REDRUM" is no longer in exisitence, as she is now being rebadged as "VETERAN 1" and will be unvieled this Friday! |

Yep - name as on my sig - SSMAUG - after Smaug - the dragon in The Hobbit
- I am sure more folks will figure it out once the movie comes out around 2012 ;-) My daughter said that the halos reminded her of huge eyes and that the car looked like it was growling at her - we then discussed names and since it was IOM and had huge glowing eyes we concluded that it was a dragon and would be SSMAUG. She was so happy when the licence plate came through with the name on it since she had "named" the car
