im not sure where we will be staying at over night but we will be staying some where tho

Hey ya'll I am just poking around on yahoo maps....

What if the 2 Caravans converged at Lafayette?

I dunno tossing ideas around, I think the North Texas Caravan would have to leave earlier to get to the same point.

You know... Really.... Driving to Houston may not be so bad, If we leave out just a little earlier then the San Antonio folks we could converge almost at the same time....

Basically converging at lafayette is about 50 miles shorter. (For N. Texas I mean lol)

Yep... I49 to Lafayette would be best (save you all an hour vs I45). The San Antonio crew will meet up in Houston for a quick lunch and should be in Lafayette around 4PM.

Then another 3 or so hours to Biloxi.

Man I think that's the way to go! I'll get a north Texas Caravan schedule going here..... Then basically the second day will be the same since we are leaving the Hotel together.

Figure meet up there, then Everyone can eat Dinner together... at the hotel that night? Maybe after checking in?

That's great...let's get as many of the caravans as we can to meet up and we'll roll in to C5F with a huge, huge caravan of Camaros!

Sounds awesome...way to work out the details!!!

It's all coming together and we are still 4 months away!! Make those reservations for Biloxi too guys and gals...

North Texas C5F Caravan.

(Note : All Times listed are approximated, if I need to adjust the travel times let me know)

Starting Rally point April 15th, 7am - Pennington Field, I will be here to give a land mark at that time. Very large parking lot so there is plenty of room. (Showing up at a few till 8am is fine, so long as we are ready to hit the road)

Address :
1501 Central Drive
Bedford Texas 76022

Get some Breakfast and get ready.

8am - Leave Pennington Field parking lot and head for I20 to Shreveport.

10:30am - Arrive in Shreveport. Check for leg stretch/refreshment/gas stop. Continue to I49 south to Alexandria.

12:30pm - Arrive in Alexandria. Time for a bite to eat! Stretch those legs and take a break. If anyone wants to suggest a good lunch locale where all ears! Depending, get on road again by 2pm.

4pm - Arrive in Lafayette for rendezvous with South Texas C5F Caravan. Suggesting the I10 exit Louisiana Ave. I10 will now be alive with the sound of Horsepower. The combined Texas C5F Caravan continues on to Biloxi. Expected ETA - Biloxi Grand 7pm.

The South Texas caravan will be pulling out of Houston around 1 (I'd suspect it will be 130 or so actually...just no way to stay on time) and it's 3.5 hours to Lafayette so we should be there at 4pm to meet up!!
